Either that or there are existing players with Swiss citizenship we were not aware of. We will attempt to keep this list updated but cannot vouch for its accuracy. Jonas Hiller G 1982 Anaheim Ducks undrafted Backing up (and mostly outplaying) All Star starter Jean Sebastien Giguere.
Tobias Stephan G 1984 Dallas Stars 2nd round, 2004 (Dallas) Has played in three games for the Stars this season, backing up Marty Turco
Tim Ramholt D 1984 Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) 2nd round, 2003 (Calgary Flames) Now in the Nashville Predators system after trade. Appears a bit buried in the Preds farm system. May be back in Europe before long.
Daniel Manzato G 1984 Albany River Rats (AHL) 5th round, 2002 (Carolina Hurricanes) A product of the Fribourg-Gotteron system, is putting in a strong season with the River Rats. He previously played for the Charlotte Checkers and Las Vegas Ramblers of the ECHL. According to HockeysFuture.com, the 'Canes have three goaltender prospects rated higher than Manzato.

Arnaud Jacquemet RW 1988 Kloten Flyers (NLA) undrafted Back in Switzerland after two seasons at Ice de Kootenay (WHL).
Yannick Weber D 1988 Montreal Canadiens 3rd round, 2007 (Montreal) Called up to Montreal from Hamilton on Jan. 1.
Luca Cunti LW 1989 Rimouski Oceanic (QMJHL) 3rd round, 2007 (Tampa Bay) Originally wanted to play college hockey but was not allowed to due to having played in Nati B even though he didn't earn any money. See rivals.com interview.
Robert Mayer G 1989 Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL) undrafted Only seen as the third-best goalie in the Canadiens' system, according to HockeysFuture.com.
Denis Hollenstein LW 1989 Guelph Storm (OHL) undrafted Assuming this is the son of longtime Kloten Flyer Felix "Figge" Hollenstein?
Luca Sbisa D 1990 Philadelphia Flyers 1st round, 2008 (Flyers) A surprising contributor to the Flyers in his rookie season. Appears well on his way.
Stefan Ulmer D 1990 Spokane Chiefs (WHL) undrafted Now in his second season at Spokane. Born in Kloten and came up through GCK Lions system but plays internationally for Austria.
